What is happening now in Washington DC is the result of Adonai of The Torah and The Tanakh being kicked outta here for good in 1962 when the Warren Court ruled school prayer was illegal and thus unconstitutional. Thus we gave Adonai his walking papers for good and my father said okay if this what you want I will oblige you. When this happened my Adonai removed his hand of protection, grace, and abundance and we were left on our own to handle all the problems of life.
See Engel verses Vitale 1963.
This one quiet yet simple act sent this country into a tailspin it has ever seen and now we are fighting for our very lives as a nation to survive.
The indirect result has been very horrific and mind-boggling. We are now witnessing the total decay of the civil society. Hedonism is now the moral values of the day not the Ten Commandments or the word of Adonai. The Supreme Court ruled just this year that Adonai’s word is now considered hate speech. No wonder we are in the shits we are in.
The roots of our decay can be traced to 1890 when the Progressive Movement led by Woodrow Wilson began its beachhead in this country. The Heritage Foundation summed it up this way in a paper The Progressive Movement and the Transformation of American Politics By
“The Founders believed that all men are created equal and that they have certain inalienable rights. All are also obliged to obey the natural law, under which we have not only rights but duties. We are obliged “to respect those rights in others which we value in ourselves” (Jefferson). The main rights were thought to be life and liberty, including the liberty to organize one’s own church, to associate at work or at home with whomever one pleases, and to use one’s talents to acquire and keep property. For the Founders, then, there is a natural moral order — rules discovered by human reason that promote human well-being, rules that can and should guide human life and politics.
The Progressives rejected these claims as naive and unhistorical. In their view, human beings are not born free. John Dewey, the most thoughtful of the Progressives, wrote that freedom is not “something that individuals have as a ready-made possession.” It is “something to be achieved.” In this view, freedom is not a gift of God or nature. It is a product of human making, a gift of the state. Man is a product of his own history, through which he collectively creates himself. He is a social construct. Since human beings are not naturally free, there can be no natural rights or natural law. Therefore, Dewey also writes, “Natural rights and natural liberties exist only in the kingdom of mythological social zoology.”
Since the Progressives held that nature gives man little or nothing and that everything of value to human life is made by man, they concluded that there are no permanent standards of right. Dewey spoke of “historical relativity.” However, in one sense, the Progressives did believe that human beings are oriented toward freedom, not by nature (which, as the merely primitive, contains nothing human), but by the historical process, which has the character of progressing toward increasing freedom. So the “relativity” in question means that in all times, people have views of right and wrong that are tied to their particular times, but in our time, the views of the most enlightened are true because they are in conformity with where history is going.
Wilson etal believed that they could create heaven on earth if the right set of circumstances could be created and the right of people were charge Utopia would be achieved. This idea is as old as the hills. Sir Thomas More wrote Utopia in 1516. Plato wrote Plato’s Republic espousing the same ideas. Thomas Hobbes Leviathan 1651 and Karl Marx The Communist Manifesto 1848 give one insight into what the Progressive Movement is all about.
These ideas have origin in The Torah and The Tanakh more specifically B’RESHEET (Genesis) Three. This is when the serpent tempted Adam and Eve to eat of the Tree of Good and Evil The tree of Knowledge. Satan told Adam and Eve they could become just like Adonai. They ate from the tree and the rest is history. B’RESHEET 3:1-21 “Now the serpent was more crafty than any wild animal which Adonai, God, had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You are not to eat from any tree in the garden’?” 2 The woman answered the serpent, “We may eat from the fruit of the trees of the garden, 3 but about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden God said, ‘You are neither to eat from it nor touch it, or you will die.’” 4 The serpent said to the woman, “It is not true that you will surely die; 5 because God knows that on the day you eat from it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it had a pleasing appearance and that the tree was desirable for making one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her; and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized that they were naked. So they sewed fig leaves together to make themselves loincloths.
They heard the voice of Adonai, God, walking in the garden at the time of the evening breeze, so the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Adonai, God, among the trees in the garden. 9 Adonai, God, called to the man, “Where are you?” 10 He answered, “I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, so I hid myself.” 11 He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree from which I ordered you not to eat?” 12 The man replied, “The woman you gave to be with me — she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate.” 13 Adonai, God, said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman answered, “The serpent tricked me, so I ate.”
Adonai, God, said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all livestock and wild animals. You will crawl on your belly and eat dust as long as you live. 15 I will put animosity between you and the woman, and between your descendant and her descendant; he will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.”
To the woman he said, “I will greatly increase your pain in childbirth. You will bring forth children in pain. Your desire will be toward your husband, but he will rule over you.”
To Adam he said, “Because you listened to what your wife said and ate from the tree about which I gave you the order, ‘You are not to eat from it,’ the ground is cursed on your account; you will work hard to eat from it as long as you live. 18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat field plants. 19 You will eat bread by the sweat of your forehead till you return to the ground — for you were taken out of it: you are dust, and you will return to dust.”
The man called his wife Havah [life], because she was the mother of all living.
Adonai, God, made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.”

However this key part of the story is left out. B’RESHEET 3: 22-24 “(A: v, S: iv) 22 Adonai, God, said, “See, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now, to prevent his putting out his hand and taking also from the tree of life, eating, and living forever — ” 23 therefore Adonai, God, sent him out of the garden of ‘Eden to cultivate the ground from which he was taken. 24 So he drove the man out, and he placed at the east of the garden of ‘Eden the k’ruvim and a flaming sword which turned in every direction to guard the way to the tree of life.” Complete Jewish Bible
And thus the great lie told by Satan that man can create heaven on earth without Adonai. Man has pursued this idea into the gates of hell, insanity, and death.
All of our problems began in B’RESHEET (Genesis).
The only answer is that we must return to Adonai’s word if we are to prosper and receive Adonai’s grace, prosperity and love. Yeshua came back to earth to get this right. HE did and man’s salvation rests in accepting Yeshua as one’s saviour.
Thomas West and William Schambra wrote this about our founding fathers and Progressives views on God- In the founding, God was conceived in one of two ways. Christians and Jews believed in the God of the Bible as the author of liberty but also as the author of the moral law by which human beings are guided toward their duties and, ultimately, toward their happiness. Nonbelievers (Washington called them “mere politicians” in his Farewell Address) thought of God merely as a creative principle or force behind the natural order of things.
Both sides agreed that there is a God of nature who endows men with natural rights and assigns them duties under the law of nature. Believers added that the God of nature is also the God of the Bible, while secular thinkers denied that God was anything more than the God of nature. Everyone saw liberty as a “sacred cause.”
At least some of the Progressives redefined God as human freedom achieved through the right political organization. Or else God was simply rejected as a myth. For Hegel, whose philosophy strongly influenced the Progressives, “the state is the divine idea as it exists on earth.” John Burgess, a prominent Progressive political scientist, wrote that the purpose of the state is the “perfection of humanity, the civilization of the world; the perfect development of the human reason and its attainment to universal command over individualism; theapotheosis of man” (man becoming God). Progressive-Era theologians like Walter Rauschenbusch redefined Christianity as the social gospel of progress.”
Progressives rely on the state man while our founding fathers relied on the word of Adonai.
This is a very simple proposition Adonai or man? I chose Adonai and Yeshua. The results and the fruits of choosing man and the state are shown on a daily basis in this country.
